Haiti's cities remain disconnected, a result of decades of colonial occupation, with limited transportation networks linking them. Tap Taps, widely used in Port-au-Prince, are a popular mode of transportation but often too expensive for many, limiting access to the middle class. Introducing a Public Tap Tap Service (PTTS) could make this vital tradition more accessible, allowing operators to continue their business while connecting more people across the country. Improving road systems and city connections would enhance sustainability and help bridge the divisions caused by Haiti's colonial history.
